Volunteering with A Sound Life offers musicians, yoga teachers, meditation teachers and kind-hearted people an opportunity to serve people in need.
Are you a yoga teacher, meditation teacher or a musician interested in giving back to the community and sharing your skills with vulnerable Aussies in need? Or perhaps you have some other particular skill you would like to share - photography/videography, admin/fundraising, etc.? A Sound Life is looking for passionate individuals to join our volunteer team to help deliver therapeutic yoga, music and meditation programs as free services to people in need.
As a volunteer musician you will have the opportunity to play live music to groups and at the bedside of patients. All types of music welcome, instrumentalists, singer-songwriters etc. We have a training program for our music volunteers and we connect musicians together who wish to play together. This program is also open to one-off visits by touring musicians.
As a volunteer yoga and/or meditation teacher you will be sharing gentle therapeutic yoga exercises, yoga nidra and meditation. All our teachers receive training from our amazing yoga training providers Nikola Ellis (Adore Yoga) and Mark Breadner (Yoga coach).
Do you have some other particular skill you would like to share - photography/videography, production, administration, fundraising, or other?
If you have been to one of our information session and / or already know how you can be involved please complete the “Registration Form” by clicking on the button below to provide detailed information about how you can help.
