A Sound Life is a global wellbeing provider. We are the first charity in Australia to transform the lives of people in need through free music, yoga and meditation sessions.

We exist to meet a growing need in our community for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The most vulnerable people in our community -facing physical, mental and economic hardships- often have the least access to the tools for healing and empowerment. We are here to change that!!!

We harness the skills of volunteers who deliver nourishing programs as a free service for people facing hardships in health care facilities (hospitals, aged-care, disabilities, mental health) and underserved communities (incl. youth at risk and women's shelters).

Since 2014, 100+ ASL volunteers have volunteered 17,042 hrs, delivering 755 free music, yoga and meditation sessions to transform the lives of 2250 people facing hardships. ASL has delivered $647,596 worth of services in kind to the Sydney, Illawarra and Northern Rivers communities.

We bring therapeutic yoga, meditation and music delivered by qualified and trained volunteers to Aussies who need it most. Projects include yoga therapy for teens with Eating Disorders, music and yoga at Sydney Children's Hospitals (Randwick and Westmead), Miroma Special Needs BUPA Aged Care, Oasis Youth Shelter, Detour House Women's Refuge, Caretakers Cottage, House With No Steps.

We set up music and yoga schools and training programs for children in underprivileged areas enabling them to develop their creativity and talent. First Sound School launched in Tejakula North Bali in May 2014. The Tanzania yoga and music program at Rainbow Ridge launched in January 2017!

We produce educational recorded music and videos as a free resource material for underprivileged communities.  The first project is called A Sound Earth CD, a children’s album about environmental issues.
