June 21 is World Yoga Day and we’re celebrating this year, ice style!
Inspired by Wim Hof and ancient yogis, our ASL Co-Founder Edo Kahn invites you to support him as he ‘chills out’ in an ice bath for 5 minutes on 21 June.
Cold water immersion helps regain physiological, mental and emotional control; having vast health benefits and cultivating yogic principles of vairagya (non-attachment) and pratyahara (controlling senses).
The Challenge Goal? $10,000
We’re facing a social health crisis globally. Everyday wellbeing is our human right, yet millions can’t access it. Together, we can change that.
In 2015, 500 brave yogis ventured out on a cold and rainy dawn to salute the sun on Sydney’s Bondi Beach to help A Sound Life deliver free programs to people in need. Since then ASL has impacted the lives of more than 5,500 people delivering yoga, meditation and music as a free service to Australians in hospitals, aged-care, mental health, disabilities facilities, women’s and youth shelters as well as underserved communities in Africa and Indonesia.
Help us share the power of yoga and music!
Our goal for this year’s world yoga day is to fundraise $10,000 to deliver wellbeing to the facilities we service.
Your generous tax-deductable donation will assist us in bringing yoga, music and meditation classes and a tonne of smiles, love and light to people in need!
