A Sound Life Dome @ The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, Sydney
We are delighted to collaborate with Radiance Dance 5 Rhythms Sunday mornings for their 10th birthday and Autumn Equinox celebration, a special 3 hour event in our Sound Life Dome.
Join us for an uplifting and transformational dance journey to free the body, clear the body and open the heart through the powerful practise of 5Rhythms Dance. This will be a dance of celebration, community and belonging, held by the transformational and harmonising energies of the Autumn Equinox. The dance will weave recorded and live soundscape with several guest musicians including Vanessa Forbes & Steven Mazabow of Heartsound, Soul drummer, Emanuel Lieberfreund, Geeti Rogers and others, culminating in a heart opening chanting circle and a healing sound journey. Heather Price from Shamanic Path & Practise will be opening our gathering with shamanic drumming & ritual. After the dance join us for a community picnic.

Radiance Dance is a weekly Sunday morning 5Rhythms dance meditation currently held in Bondi. 5Rhythms dance is a powerful movement meditation practise that frees the body, opens the heart and clears the mind. Michelle Mahrer – Director of Radiance Dance 5Rhythms
Michelle Mahrer is a 5 Rhythms dance teacher, dance therapist and an award winning film maker based in Sydney. She is one of the pioneers of Conscious Dance in Australia and the director of Radiance Dance 5Rhythms a vibrant dance community in Sydney which has been instrumental in building the Sydney Conscious Dance Community. She is passionate about the healing and transformative power of dance. She loves to build community and connection through dance and help others to connect with their true essence through movement. She has been leading classes and workshops in Sydney, Melbourne & internationally for the past 20 years and also runs weekly Dance Therapy sessions for elders with dementia. HeartSound Music is a beautiful union of husband and wife team Vanessa Forbes and Steven Mazabow. As a team we create mystical organic live original music for group Sound Journeys, group Sound Healing, Meditation, Yoga Classes, Conscious Dance, Kirtan, Ceremonies, Retreats and Events. Together we create and share sacred sounds with didgeridoo, Mayan Flute, Native American Flute, Hand Drum, Panpipes, Tibetan bowls, chimes, African Kalimba, guitar, vocals, chants and various world percussion instruments.
Vanessa Forbes originally from Te Awamutu NZ, now residing in Sydney Australia, is a renowned multi-instrumentalist singer song writer, teacher, photographer, sound healer, kirtan and vocal artist, well known for her beautiful and acclaimed manifestation CD Album “Love Letters from the Universe” Recently invited to provide her angelic song “You Are Safe” to a Youtube video with over 75Million views, Vanessa was also the proprietor and visionary behind Absolute Soiree a sold out monthly event held in Bondi.
Steve Mazabow originally from South African now living in Sydney Australia is well known passionate didgeridoo practitioner, multi-instrumentalist sound healing practitioner, Yin yoga teacher, kirtan artist and entrepreneur. Steve is part of the Dream Drone team which is synonymous with bring unique vibration, a low frequency soundscapes created with didgeridoo. Steve’s didgeridoo music was recently used by the Australian climate council.
Emanuel Lieberfreund is passionate about the power of music to evoke the sacred and to instill everyday life with meaning and joy. He studied classical and jazz flute at the Sydney Conservatorium, and is a seasoned flautist, saxophonist and percussionist in Australia and Asia, in jazz, world music, sacred music, and music for dance therapy, yoga and meditation. His music is also informed by enquiries into hatha and bhakti yoga, Chinese medicine and chi gung, Kabbalah, and 5 Rhythms Dance. He is a member of the Indian/jazz/flamenco fusion band “Shanti Fire”, of the sound healing project “Flowstate”, and of the latin band “Toque Latino.” His meditative world music album “Atma’s Sphere” has been played on Radio National, Eastside Radio, Northside Radio, Soultraveller Radio and Bondi FM.
Saul Smith is an amazing drummer who is a highly experienced drum circle facilitator and performer. He loves sharing his immense passion for music, drumming and life.He started his drumming career whilst in high school, where one of his bands had a record deal and toured extensively throughout Australia, U.S.A and Japan. Saul further developed his knowledge of music and drumming with studies at the Australian Institute of Music.He continued his higher education at Sydney University where he studied music, social work, sociology and cultural anthropology and completed 2 degrees. It was a natural progression that led Saul to launch Soul Drummer and start facilitating drumming and music workshops. Saul’s quest for bringing people together and studying traditional music and culture has led him to numerous international journeys. With over 25 years experience he has gained a deeper understanding of the importance of drumming and music for healing, ritual, celebration and creating communities.As a musician and performer he has traveled to to Guinea, Mali and Ghana (4 times), Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Brazil (3 times), Cuba (twice), U.S.A, Europe, Japan, Indonesia and all around Australia.
Geeti Rogers is a Sydney based kirtanist & Naada Yoga teacher with a background in conscious movement & dance. Her passion and calling is to uplift, unify and transform our personal and collective energy and awareness through music, mantra and movement. As an accredited Soul Motion conscious dance teacher and Kiryuho Japanese Movement Meditation teacher, Geeti is excited about exploring and fusing her love of sacred sound with movement and dance.
Heather Price has been practicing creative counselling and shamanic healing since 1999. She has been training others in Shamanic Path & Practice since 2004. She also creates sacred space within living and working environments, and holds ceremony for community gatherings.
Her passion is to assist others, individually, in groups and business organisations, to define, create, and live their dreams in a spirited way. “I aspire you to live wake up and live consciously, and to confidently step up to meet your dreams and visions, keeping and open and resilient heart in love and gratitude always, and all ways”.
