Di Timmins is ASL’s Volunteer Manager and an accomplished freelance health & well-being writer. Di had established a career in film and television, until discovering yoga in her early 20’s carved a new direction – taking her as far as southern India to International Centre for Yoga Education and Research (ICYER). Over the last decade, Di has committed largely to studying and writing about many facets of yoga; with recent focus on how her skills and compassion can serve others, and exploring the powerful synergy between yoga and surfing. Her work has featured in numerous publications, including: WellBeing, Australian Yoga Journal, MiNDFOOD, body+soul, Australian Yoga Life and Women’s Fitness. When she’s not rostering or writing, Di pursues her passions of long-distance running, painting and connecting with the ocean.
